Dubrovnik buses.
Libertas runs every city bus in Dubrovnik. Lines are frequent, cheap and cover almost everywhere a visitor stays.
Short answer
A single Libertas ticket is €1.73 at a kiosk (Tisak) or €2.50 bought from the driver, valid one hour. A day pass is €5.31 and a three-day pass €11.95. Lines 4, 5 and 6 link Pile Gate with Lapad and Babin Kuk; line 1A/1B serves the airport road.

The lines you will actually use
1A / 1B
Pile ↔ the airport road and Čilipi side. Cheap, slower with luggage.
4, 5, 6
Pile ↔ Lapad and Babin Kuk — the main hotel corridor.
1A, 3, 8
Pile ↔ Gruž (cruise port, ferry terminal, main bus station).

Pile ↔ Cavtat, roughly hourly, about €4 and 40–50 minutes.
Local tips
Buses do not enter the Old Town. Every route terminates at Pile Gate or Ploče — you walk the last stretch.
On cruise mornings (four or more ships) the Pile buses fill up completely between 09:00 and 11:00. Walk or start earlier.
Board at the front, validate immediately, and press the stop button — drivers do not stop at every shelter automatically.
